It is a busy weekend for Olympia Coffee outside the shops serving coffee in the real world.
Michael Elvin and select Olympia Coffee baristas will be operating an espresso machine and a manual pour over coffee bar at Helsing Junction & K Records annual Helsing Junction Sleepover. On the espresso machine we will be featuriung our Big Truck Espresso Blend. On the Pour Over Bar will be our Guatemala Huehuetenange CODECH Cooperative, El Salvador Santa Adelaida, and the always popular Ethiopia Amaro Gayo.

Slow Food Dinner on the Farm - Sunday August 22nd 2010
Olympia Coffee is proud to announce that we are contributing our organic coffee to "Slow Food Dinner on the Farm" at Left Foot Organics this coming Sunday August 22, 2010. It is a fundraiser event to help send Ann Vandeman of Left Foot Organics to Slow Food’s Terra Madre 2010 in Torino Italy. Las Lajas espresso!
Panda and Fraoigh are rocking the Costa Rica Las Lajas single origin espresso in the Cherry Street cafe today!
My shot was so fluffy, sweet and delicious…it reminded me of key lime pie.
Another happy recipient compared it to a mojito.
Come try it. You know you’re already coming in for the La Florida… ;]

So the final batch of Manuel Antonio Ovies’ rockstar Colombia La Florida was roasted this Thursday…the last bags and cups of this stellar coffee are in our cafes right now.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and come have some before it’s gone. All that sumptuous, sweet, distinctive flavor gone…sigh…
it’s a good thing we have so many other fantastic coffees in the pen right now…
