New Location! Capitol Blvd.

Posted on January 02, 2013 by Oliver Stormshak | 11 Comments

Olympia Coffee Roasting Co. will be opening its third café at 2824 Capitol Blvd. in Olympia’s historic Wildwood Building in early 2013.  Built in 1938, the Wildwood Building is located at the connection of four Olympia neighborhoods: South Capitol, Wildwood, Governor Stevens, and Carlyon in Olympia, Washington.

The new café will continue Olympia Coffee Roasting Co.’s commitment to the highest standards in coffee brewing, espresso preparation, and customer service. Every coffee beverage will be ground and brewed per cup and per order by a skilled barista. In addition to espresso beverages, the menu will include hand-brewed, pour-over coffee and impeccably sourced and roasted whole bean coffees.

The new store will feature an open bar arrangement with wraparound bar seating for customer engagement. All equipment will expand Olympia Coffee Roasting Co.’s partnerships with state-of-the-art equipment manufacturers such as La Marzocco (espresso machines) and Marco (temperature controlled boilers). Locally-produced and sustainably-sourced materials will be featured throughout the café.

Oh my gosh. We could not be more thrilled that you are opening a location here, just blocks from our house. My husband was so happy that I he might do a cartwheel. He restrained himself though.

We are looking for a place to convene after work for an hour or so as a work group. How late will the new location be open? Is there group seating for up to 14?

Hi, I am the sister of Mike Shattuck (owners of the Wildwood building) and we are thrilled you will be opening your newest coffee shop in the Wildwood Building. I live in Santa Cruz, but will look forward to enjoy a cup of coffee there. All the best for 2013! Julie Shattuck
