Pablo Zuniga is the farmer and owner of Finca Santa Marta, located above the small town of Espameyate in the region of San Sebastian De La Plata, Huila, Colombia. Santa Marta is a small operation: Pablo, his oldest son, and nephew do all of the work to grow, harvest, process, and dry the coffee. Finca Santa Marta is Rain Forest Alliance Certified, which ensures that sustainable practices are used in every aspect of Zuniga’s care of the land. We selected two micro-lots from Pablo Zuniga this season based on exceptional flavors and sweetness. Pablo's coffee is beloved in our company, he is our most consistent micro lot producer year after year.
This is the second micro lot of the season from Pablo Zuniga and the highest scoring lot.
These two micro lots are part of the coffee harvest that took place from June-September of 2013.
