Flavors of peach, citrus, and floral
The quality of this coffee is through the roof! The selection of famed SL 28 and SL 34 coffee varietals were grown on the slopes of Mount Kenya at farms 1,700 meters above sea level. The coffee was processed at the Kuguyu Factory (washing station) under the leadership of Wilson Wenjohi, who is known for his excellent management. Wenjohi encourages coffee farmers to select only ripe cherries and oversees the long pulping and fermentation, then washing in pristine river water. The coffee then dries on raised beds for up to two weeks, a process that ensures even moisture content and stability and consistency of the coffee flavors. This year, we owe a very special thanks to the team at Cafe Imports for their help with coffee selection and importation from Kenya.
