Coming in 2024: Olympia Coffee in Downtown Seattle
Here at Olympia Coffee, we're on a mission to better our communities through excellent coffee and exceptional service. Place means a lot to us—as do the people who live, work, and play in these places. All the way from the farms at origin to our neighborhood coffee shops to the coffee on your kitchen countertop, it's our goal for Olympia Coffee to be a place of connection between quality coffee and a higher quality of life for all.
That's why we're thrilled to connect a new community to our seed-to-cup story, proudly serving the neighborhood of downtown Seattle!
Beginning later in 2024, we’re delighted to join our new friends at Cedar Hall to open our 7th cafe in the U.S. Bank Center on 5th Avenue and Pike Street. The newest Olympia Coffee will be mere blocks away from such Seattle mainstays such Pike Place Market, the Convention Center, the Monorail, the Paramount Theatre, and the Seattle Art Museum. Not to mention other downtown hotels, restaurants, venues, and more. Right in the heart of the city is right where we’ll be.
Here's what Oliver, our President and CEO, hopes for our new location:
“This prime spot promises to be an exceptional destination for both locals and visitors to the vibrant heart of the city. Our presence at Cedar Hall marks our commitment to introducing our distinctive ‘Quality of Life’ coffee experience to the esteemed coffee culture of Seattle, inviting everyone to indulge in the richness of flavor and the warmth of community that defines Olympia Coffee.”
Located on the ground floor of Cedar Hall, our new Downtown Seattle cafe is the first tenant to be announced for the freshly-redeveloped public retail hub. We'll brew out of a small but mighty 290 square-foot space, utilizing a two-sided storefront to serve customers on the street level as well as inside. Guests can take advantage, too, of Cedar Hall's spacious lobby with generous seating (and stunning design details) to enjoy their coffee in relaxed comfort.
Customers of Olympia Coffee aren't the only ones to benefit from our new downtown spot, either. Centrally located and mere steps from bus stops and light rail, our new cafe is easily accessible to both current and prospective employees. Olympia Coffee staff will also benefit from Cedar Hall's 24-hour security as well as janitorial services. All perks that will help ensure a higher quality of life for the folks who will represent Olympia Coffee to the Downtown Seattle neighborhood.
Our newest cafe will join the ranks of two other Olympia Coffee locations in Seattle—Columbia City and West Seattle—as well as our sister location, Moonrise Bakery, in Queen Anne. Together with our three cafes in Olympia and one on Proctor Street in Tacoma, this forthcoming opening marks our company's 7th Olympia Coffee cafe and 8th location overall.
