Say "aloha" to this stunning coffee from Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i! Monarch Coffee Farm uses cutting-edge processing technology to transform the renowned coffee of Hawai`i into a true masterpiece. This lot features their prize Gesha—the first of this varietal ever grown responsibly on Hawaiian soil. Monarch's Gesha was awarded first and third place at the State of Hawaii Cupping Competition and continues to wow us year after year.
Farm managers Abby and Sal Munoz processed this Kona Gesha in the anaerobic natural method, fermenting the coffee fruit-on in a carefully controlled, oxygen-free environment. This approach extends the fermentation period to develop mind-blowing flavor complexity in every bean.
We roast all of our coffees to order and ship them out the same day to guarantee that you receive the freshest coffee possible. Our roast days are Monday through Friday. All orders received by 2 pm PST will be processed for the next roast day.
