These micro lots come from the same province and even the same washing station, yet different processing methods have yielded distinctly delicious nuances in flavor.

GITWE NATURAL MICRO LOT 1:
Deep in the Kayanza district of Burundi, the farmers of Gitwe Hill pick the ripest coffee cherries and deliver them to Long Miles' Heza Station, where these cherries were put on raised beds to dry like raisins in the sun. This technique, known as natural processing, slowly pushes the flavors of the fruit into the beans, resulting in a heady, aromatic, fruit-forward cup.
GITWE HONEY MICRO LOT 4:
This honey-processed coffee also hails from Gitwe Hill and was processed at Heza washing station. There, the beans were pulped and sun-dried, leaving on their sticky fruit coating for intense sweetness.
MIKUBA MICRO LOT 7:
Mikuba Lot 7 represents a single day of harvest and was processed at Heza washing station. This coffee was produced using the washed method, yielding a clean-tasting cup with a crystal-clear expression of its terroir.
We roast all of our coffees to order and ship them out the same day to guarantee that you receive the freshest coffee possible. Our roast days are Monday through Friday. All orders received by 2 pm PST will be processed for the next roast day.
